Review by hotel critic
Hotel Nineteen in Brighton offered a delightful retreat that seamlessly blended comfort with unique character. I stayed in the Japanese Courtyard room, a zen-like haven adorned in pale pink, complete with a charming walled garden and a high-sided bamboo bathtub perfect for an alfresco soak. The calm ambiance and tasteful decor of the room, enhanced by dark-wood flooring and an eclectic art collection, truly created a tranquil escape. The location couldn’t have been better; just a short stroll to the beach and close to vibrant attractions like the Royal Pavilion. Our mornings were made special with a continental breakfast featuring fresh fruit and pastries, energizing us for our explorations. The friendly staff added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel right at home after long days of sightseeing. If you’re seeking a boutique experience in the heart of Brighton, this property is a gem worth discovering.
